Since February 16th anyone can pre-order a brand new product when it comes to virtual reality (VR) technology and it came in the shape of Oculus Ready PCs. ASUS, Dell and Alienware have all joined with Oculus to provide a number of PCs that are said to enhance the ‘incredible Rift experience’. All bundles will contain an Oculus-certified PC as well as everything that normally comes with the Rift including; a headset, sensor, Xbox One controller, remote and more. Seven PCs are available, including three from ASUS.

Oculus Ready PCs from ASUS range from $949 to $1699. They are offering the G11CD model with Intel i5 as well as two ROG G20CB models (one with i5 and the other with i7). Alienware also have three models available; the Area 51 and two versions of the X51 R3 which differ slightly when it comes to memory and storage. Prices of Alienware range from $999 and $2349. Finally, Dell are contributing the XPS 8900 SE which is at the special price of $999.

Oculus has also announced that anyone who has already pre-ordered the Rift will be able to buy a PC for a discounted price (depending on country). Rift’s will still work on other PCs but a check will have to be carried out to see if it will work efficiently. Oculus has taken yet another step forward when it comes to VR technology and who knows what’s still to come in the future?
