Pocket Dolphins

Pocket Dolphins is a Google Cardboard VR experience that transports you into a vivid underwater world. In the app you will meet a pair of friendly dolphins that can perform an endless variety of twists, turns, dives and rolls. If you’re lucky they might even come up to you for a nuzzle! You can also use the magnet trigger to drop rings into the environment for the dolphins to play with. If you like the dolphins please rate the app!

IMPORTANT

Pocket Dolphins is a demanding 3D app that requires a modern high-powered smartphone (Snapdragon 600 processor or above). Please don’t buy the app if you have a weaker phone, as performance cannot be guaranteed.. It has been thoroughly optimised and tested on Samsung Galaxy S4, S5, Note 4, and HTC One and M8 devices.

TECHNOLOGY

The dolphins are driven by a unique artificial intelligence system which produces completely procedural animation. This aims to generate complex and life-like animation, and also ensures that every visit to Pocket Dolphins will be different! The dolphins are visiting Google Cardboard from the much larger Ocean Rift app for Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Rift.
